ঢাকা থেকে ট্রেনে যাওয়ার উপায় : ঢাকা হতে ট্রেনে গিয়ে একদিনে ঘুরে দেখতে চাইলে আপনাকে অবশ্যই আন্তঃনগর এগারো সিন্ধুর প্রভাতী ট্রেনে আসতে হবে। এগারো সিন্ধুর প্রভাতী বুধবার ছাড়া সপ্তাহের বাকি ৬ দিন কমলাপূর ষ্টেশন থেকে সকাল ৭টা ১৫ মিনিটে ছেড়ে বিমানবন্দর, টঙ্গী, নরসিংদী ও ভৈরব ষ্টেশন হয়ে কিশোরগঞ্জ আসে। শ্রেণী অনুযায়ী ট্রেনের টিকেট ভাড়া ১৩৫ থেকে ৩৬৮ টাকা পর্যন্ত। যদি ট্রেনে আসেন তাহলে সবচেয়ে ভাল হবে কিশোরগঞ্জ সদরে পোঁছার আগের ষ্টেশন গচিহাটা ষ্টেশনে নেমে গেলে। ঢাকা থেকে ট্রেনে রওনা দিয়ে আপনি সকাল ১১ টার মধ্যেই গচিহাটা ষ্টেশনে চলে আসতে পারবেন। ষ্টেশন থেকে ইজিবাইক অথবা সিএনজি দিয়ে সহজেই চলে যেতে পারবেন ১৫ কিলোমিটার দূরের নিকলী বাজারে। ইজিবাইকে জনপ্রতি ৩৫ টাকা অথবা রিজার্ভ নিলে ২৫০-৩০০ টাকা ভাড়ায় নিকলী যেতে সময় লাগবে প্রায় ১ ঘন্টা। সিএনজি রিজার্ভ নিলে খরচ হবে ৩০০ থেকে ৩২০ টাকা আর সময় লাগবে প্রায় ৪০ মিনিট। তবে ঐ দিনই ফিরতে চাইলে যাবার পথে আপনাকে বাসে যেতে হবে।

ঢাকা থেকে বাসে যাওয়ার উপায়: ঢাকা থেকে বাসে আসতে চাইলে ঢাকার গোলাপবাগ থেকে যাতায়াত অথবা অনন্যা সুপার বাস সার্ভিসে আসতে হবে। প্রতিদিন ভোর ৫:৩০ থেকে ১৫ মিনিট পর পর বাস ছেড়ে আসে। বাসের ভাড়া জনপ্রতি ৩৫০ টাকা। দিনে ঘুরে রাতের মধ্যে ফিরতে চাইলে আপনাকে অবশ্যই সকাল ৭টার আগেই বাসে রওনা দিতে হবে। বাসে আসলে সবচেয়ে ভাল হবে কিশোরগঞ্জ এর আগেই কটিয়াদি বাস স্ট্যান্ড নেমে গেলে। ঢাকা থেকে কটিয়াদি আসতে সময় লাগবে ৩ থেকে সাড়ে ৩ ঘন্টা। সেখান থেকে ২২ কিলোমিটার দূরত্বের নিকলী যেতে আপনাকে ৩৫০ থেকে ৪০০ টাকা দিয়ে সিএনজি রিজার্ভ করতে হবে। আর যেতে সময় লাগবে প্রায় ১ ঘন্টা ২০ মিনিট সময় লাগে।

কিশোরগঞ্জ থেকে নিকলী : যদি কিশোরগঞ্জ জেলা শহর থেকে নিকলী যেতে চান তবে কিশোরগঞ্জ রেলওয়ে ষ্টেশনের সংলগ্ন নিকলীগামী সিএনজি ষ্টেশনে চলে আসুন। কিশোরগঞ্জ সদর থেকে নিকলীর দূরত্ব প্রায় ২৭ কিলোমিটার। সিএনজি ষ্টেশন থেকে লোকালে বা রিজার্ভ নিয়ে নিকলী যেতে প্রায় ১ ঘন্টা সময় লাগে। লোকালে যেতে জনপ্রতি ভাড়া ৭০ টাকা আর সিএনজি রিজার্ভ নিতে ৩৫০-৪০০ টাকা ভাড়া লাগে।

ভৈরব থেকে নিকলী : এছাড়া ভৈরব থেকেও লোকাল কিংবা রিজার্ভ সিএনজি নিয়ে নিকলী যাওয়া যায়। লোকালে যেতে জনপ্রতি ভাড়া ১২০ টাকা আর রিজার্ভ নিলে ৬০০ টাকা। ভৈরব থেকে সিএনজিতে নিকলী যেতে সময় লাগবে দেড় ঘন্টার মত।

গচিহাটা, কটিয়াদি বা কিশোরগঞ্জ; যেখান থেকেই নিকলী আসেন না কেনো আসার পথের দুইপাশের গ্রাম বাংলার দৃশ্য আপনার ভাল লাগবেই। যতই নিকলীর কাছাকাছি যেতে থাকবেন ততই সুন্দর লাগবে সবকিছু। দুপাশের দৃশ্য দেখতে দেখতেই কখন যে নিকলী পৌঁছে যাবেন সেটা বুঝতেই পারবেন না।

ট্রেনে আসলে গচিহাটা বা মানিকখালি স্টেশনে নেমে গেলে এবং বাসে আসলে কটিয়াদি নেমে গেলে কম সময় নিকলী যেতে পারবেন।

How to go to Nikli haor

It is possible to visit Nikli Haor in a single day from Dhaka as well as the Kishoreganj district. In Dhaka, you can reach Nikli Haor by train or bus.

Dhaka To Kishoreganj

The best way to reach Kishoreganj is via train from Dhaka. If you wish to travel to Dhaka and visit it all in one day, then you should use an intercity 11 Indus early morning train. The train departs Kamalapur station in the morning at 8.15 in the remaining seven weeks, with the exception of Wednesday mornings at 11 o’clock at which point it arrives Kishoreganj through Airport, Tongi, Narsingdi, and Bhairab stations. Train tickets range is between 150-200 Taka based on the class. If you travel via train, it will be ideal to take a detour at Gachihata station prior to reaching Kishoreganj Sadar.

If you depart by train from Dhaka it is possible to reach Gachihata station before 11 am. From there it is easy to reach Nikli Bazar, 15 km away, via Easybike and CNG. The easy bike will take 35 Taka for a person or if you reserve 250-300 Taka, it’ll take around one hour to get to Nikli. If you opt for CNG Reserve, then the price is between 300 and 320 Taka. It takes about 40 minutes. However, if you plan to return the next day, you need to catch a bus on your route.

Kishoreganj to Dhaka (Same Day)

How do I get there via bus from Dhaka If you would like to take a bus to Dhaka it is necessary to go to Golapbagh located in Dhaka or travel from Ananya Super Bus Service. The bus departs every morning at 5:30 from 5 to 15 minutes. The bus fare ranges from 260 to 300 Taka per passenger. If you plan to go around during the day and then return to your hotel at night, get on the bus prior to 8 am in the morning. In reality, it is recommended to leave the bus at the Katiadi bus stop prior to Kishoreganj. It can take between 3 and an hour to get to Katiadi in Dhaka. Thereafter, you need to make a reservation for CNG for between 350 and 400 Taka to travel up to Nikli which is located 22 km away. It will take around 1 hour and 20 minutes to travel there.

Nikli from Kishoreganj

Nikli from Kishoreganj to get towards Nikli via Kishoreganj city, go there to CNG station, which is located near Kishoreganj train station. From Kishoreganj Sadar to Nikli is approximately 26 km. It takes around 1 hour to travel out of CNG station either locally or via the reserve. It is priced at 60 Taka per person to get local, and 350-400 Taka for taking CNG reserve.

Nikli from Bhairab

In addition, one can also take a trip towards Nikli from Bhairab by using either local or reserve CNG. Local rates are 120 Taka for a person, and the reserve cost is 600 Taka. It will take approximately an hour and a quarter to travel from Bhairab by CNG.

Gachihata, Katiadi, or Kishoreganj

If Nikli isn’t from it is important to appreciate the views of the town that is Bengal along both roads. The closer you are to Nikli the more stunning the view will appear. When you look at the view from both sides, you’ll not know exactly what time Nikli will arrive.

If you exit from the train either at Gachihata or Manikkhali station and leave the bus at Katiadi you will be able to leave in less time.

There are a handful of top food establishments right there in the area where Nikli is landing. The hotel bridge and cafe wave is the most notable. Fresh fish can be purchased from Haor at a cost of 100-200 Taka.

কিভাবে ঘুরবেন

খাওয়া দাওয়া ও প্রয়োজনীয় কাজ সেরে ইজিবাইকে বেড়ি বাঁধের শেষ প্রান্তে চলে আসুন। সেখানে দরদাম করে ঘন্টা প্রতি নৌকা ঠিক করে নিবেন হাওর ঘুরে দেখার জন্যে। ছোট নৌকা ভাড়া করতে ঘন্টা প্রতি ৪০০ থেকে ৫০০ টাকা এবং একটু বড় নৌকা ভাড়া করতে ঘন্টা প্রতি ৭০০ থেকে ৮০০ টাকা খরচ হবে। আর বেশি সময়ের জন্যে ভাড়া করলে খরচ কিছুটা কম হবে। এক নৌকায় অনায়াসে ১০-৩০ জন পর্যন্ত উঠতে পারবেন।

আপনার হাতে কত সময় আছে সেই হিসেবেই নৌকা ভাড়া করুন। চেষ্টা করুন অন্তত ৩ ঘন্টা যেন হাতে থাকে নৌকা দিয়ে ঘুরার জন্যে। নৌকা দিয়ে হাওরে ভাসতে ভাসতে চারপাশের মোহনীয় রূপ দেখতে প্রথমেই চলে যেতে পারেন ছাতিরচর গ্রামে। সিলেটের রাতারগুলের মত জলাবনের মুগ্ধতা দেখতে দেখতে দু’চোখ জুড়িয়ে নেয়ার পাশাপাশি শীতল জলে গা ঢুবিয়ে শরীর শান্ত করার কাজটা এখানেই সেরে ফেলতে পারেন। তবে ভরা বর্ষায় পানি অনেক বেশি থাকে। তাই গোসল করতে চাইলে সাথে করে লাইফ জ্যাকেট নিয়ে যাওয়াটা বুদ্ধিমানের কাজ হবে। জলাবনের সৌন্দর্য দেখে তারপর আবার নৌকা নিয়ে চলে যান চর মনপুরায়। পানি বেশি হলে যদিও ডুবে যায় তবে কম থাকলে আধো ভাসমান এই চরে ঘুরে বেড়াতে পারেন কিছুটা সময়। তারপর উন্মুক্ত হাওরে শেষ বিকেলের সূর্য্য দেখতে দেখতে পূনরায় নিকলী বেড়ি বাঁধে এসে বাড়ি ফেরার পথ ধরতে হবে। ফিরতে চাইলে আপনাকে বাসেই ফিরতে হবে। এই জন্যে নিকলী উপজেলা মোড়ে এসে সিএনজি ঠিক করে চলে যান কটিয়াদিতে। কটিয়াদি বাস স্ট্যান্ড থেকে ঢাকা যাবার শেষ বাস ছেড়ে যায় সন্ধ্যা ৭টায়। তাই সময়ে দিকে অবশ্যই খেয়াল রাখবেন।

Traveling to Nikli Haor

After having a meal and doing the work that is required after eating, you can ride the bike until the end of the embankment. Bargaining on the spot will repair the boat each hour to go to the harbour. The cost will be 400-500 Taka an hour to hire a smaller vessel and 600 to 700 Taka an hour for the larger vessel. If you lease for a longer duration, the cost will be lower. It is possible to accommodate as many as 10-30 persons in one boat.

You can rent a boat depending on how much time you’ll need. It is recommended to have at minimum three hours to explore the area via boat. When you’re floating on the haor in a boat, you may first visit Chhatirchar village to explore the beautiful surroundings. You can witness the captivating beauty of the water forest, similar to Ratargul in Sylhet. There is however plenty of water during the season of rain. Therefore, if you’re planning to soak it is advisable to bring an emergency jacket.

After observing how beautiful the water forest taek==ke another boat for a trip to Char Monpura. If the water is very high the boat sinks, however in the case of low water you can stroll through this part-floating char for a short time. If you want to catch the last sunset sun on an open vale, you need to tie it up again and head home.

If you wish to return, you need to travel by bus. To do this, Nikli came to the area of the upazila’s corner and then went to Katiadi via CNG. The final bus from Katiadi bus station to Dhaka departs at 6 pm. Make sure you keep in mind the exact time.

থাকার ব্যবস্থা

নিকলীতে কোনো ভালো আবাসিক হোটেল নেই। নতুন চালু হওয়া চেয়ারম্যান গেস্ট হাউজ অথবা উপজেলা ডাক বাংলো তে থাকতে পারবেন। আর চাইলে কিশোরগঞ্জ জেলা সদরে গিয়ে সেখানে থাকতে পারবেন। চাইলে নৌকায় বা ক্যাম্পিং করে রাত পার করে দিতে পারবেন। তবে নিরাপত্তার বিষয়টা মাথায় রাখতে হবে। রাতে হাওরের মাঝখানে সাবধানে চলাচল করা উচিত।

Accommodation Facilities to Nikli Kishoreganj

গুরই প্রাচীনতম আখড়া – কিশোরগঞ্জ জেলার নিকলী উপজেলায় গুরই ইউনিয়নে এই আখড়া অবস্থিত। শুকনো মৌসুমে রিকসা, মটরসাইকেল, সিএনজি দিয়ে যাওয়া যায় কিন্তু বর্ষা মৌসুমে নৌকা বা ট্রলার যোগে যেতে হয়।
